Long, sustained tones, commonly referred to as drones, serve as a valuable resource in music practice. Personally, I have found drones particularly effective in enhancing improvisational abilities and ear training.

Experimenting by muting one of the drone voices allows the user to focus on a fundamental pitch, facilitating a deep dive into pitch relationships during improvisation. The feature of adding a second drone voice introduces an additional layer of engagement to the practice session.
